Okay, as mentioned in my last 30 Days of Me post, I am going to cheat and put the last four days together in one.
Day 16 - My View on Mainstream Music
I love all kinds of music whether it is mainstream or not. I like a few indie bands. One really great artist put out her album this year which was fully fan funded and allows free distribution of her album. Billy the Kid is her name and she is one pretty awesome person. Check out her site if you get a chance (see her name for the link) or message me and I'll send you her album. Anything to spread the word about this girl.
I like all types of music except for classical or heavy metal. If I can't understand the lyrics, I generally don't like it.
Day 17 - My Highs and Lows for 2011
High - Purchased my own home and finally stopped renting. Again...
Low - Basement in said new home flooded on my birthday, a day and a half after owning it...
Low - Lil' Man was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes
Low - Car accident on the way home from the Sens game Dec 16 - I was doing all the right things and it still happened. :( I'm okay and so is the car, for the most part. I really, really don't like the antsy feeling for days after an accident.
High - I am still alive and kickin' ;)
That is about it for the really good/bad for this year.
Day 18 - A book I could read over and over again and not get sick of
Well, when I find it. I will let you know. As it stands right now I don't have one. Even when Lil' Man wants the same story more than once in a week I groan.
Day 19 - My Biggest Regret
Not going back to finish my photography diploma once I finally got over the break up with my ex-fiance. What can I say, I was young, dumb and in love. It nearly killed me. Took almost a year to get over the situation surrounding our break up.
One day I will finish it because I don't want to leave many things unfinished when it is my time to go.
Tomorrow I am back on track with my thoughts on edu-ma-cation. ;)
