There are only three days until we close on our new house and I am getting really nervous. I paid the lawyer today and my bank account is gasping for air.
We get the keys on Friday sometime and I am hoping that I can take a load or two before my son gets to see the house. I told him that his bed gets to be the first bit of furniture that gets set up in the house. He is pretty excited.
There is only one minor hitch, I am not finished packing yet. At least we have until the 31st to get everything out of the townhouse.
I am so very tired of looking at all the stuff that I still have to do but I don't want to do any of it. I wish my fairy godmother would appear and take care of the packing and the cleaning that has to happen afterward. UGH!!!
Unfortunately, I am so busy this coming week it isn't funny. My schedule goes something like this:
Friday: Keys
Saturday: Move
Sunday: It's my birthday and I'm doing what I want which includes a Capital City FC game
Monday - Wednesday: Toronto
Thursday: Calypso with a friend who is visiting from Nunavut.
Friday: J's mom is visiting for the weekend
Saturday: My cousins stag and doe
Sunday: Time to unpack....finally
Hopefully we get all of our stuff out by the 31st.
