I am about a week behind here and I must apologize for that. Tardiness is not something that I like however sometimes, time just gets away from me.
On to my last week of the first month of my Project 365.
During a walk along the Ottawa River Parkway I saw fallen down trees and just saw a new tree poking out of one of the fallen trees.
One of my favourite things is driving in my car and lately we have had a few wicked storms and while driving into what I thought was going to be yet another storm it ended up being just a nice cloudy day with sunny breaks and this shot was taken while driving down the road. I pulled over quickly and snapped this with my iPhone.
I was such a proud Momma on Friday. More than usual. Lil' Man graduated from Senior Kindergarten. I forgot tissues which by now, I should have know better, the tears refused to stay away. When did I become so sappy? The graduates sang songs in English and in French and even did the Chicken Dance which I had to be the embarrassing mom in the front row dancing right along with it. There were refreshments afterward and then Lil' Man decided to take the bus back to his Nan's instead of riding back with us in the car. Unfortunately, the celebration had to end early as I had to go and sign papers to deal with the purchase of my house. Two great things to happen in one day.
Roses aren't my favourite flower but I love the colour variation within the same bush. We used to have amazing rose bushes when we lived in The Netherlands when I was a child.
Another try at the macro with my new lens. I am hoping to get a little more macro work in before the summer is over.
I love car shows. That is one of my favourite thing to do in the summer with Lil' man. We travel all over Ontario going to them.
Another thing we love to go is drive around the back roads of Ontario looking for antique stores. We found this old typewriter and if I had the $380 for it, I would have bought it. I simply adore the percolator app on my phone. I have used it for many photos. I love this effect.
That is it until next week. Well, a few days from now when week five will be posted.
