Yesterday Lil' Man and I were traveling on our way to the Ottawa Fat Cats baseball game when it started to rain.
Lil' Man: I know how gravity works.
Me: Oh yeah?!
Lil' Man: Yeah. When the water evaporates from the lakes and whatnot (he actually used whatnot) it goes into the sky and the clouds catch the invisible vapor. It rains when the clouds have to sneeze.
Me: Oh, really?
Lil' Man: No. Not quite but gravity is what brings the rain down to the ground instead of sending it in into space.

Although he is only partly correct. Where did he learn about gravity and evaporation? I asked him and he said he read it somewhere. What books are he reading that talk about gravity and evaporation? They definitely are not the books that his father and I have been buying/borrowing.
What has your child(ren) said to you lately that amazed you?
