I am a little late posting this but I have been busy with creating this new blog and importing all the photos into Flickr, although I have only gotten one in there so far. I am really dreading the fact I have to add descriptions all over again.
Anyway, onto Week Three.
While at the Definenbunker I snapped this photo of Lil' Man walking down the tunnel back towards the entrance. Since cameras are not "allowed" I tried to be discrete about taking this photo. I used a filter on my phone and used the UV setting to reverse the colours.
Another iPhone app photo. I used Percolator and took a photo of some vending machine Hello Kitty figurines.
I loved attending Lil' Man's school fun fair. Lil' Man and his cousin Maddy Moo had a blast and somewhere in between the fun there were lots of prizes that were won. Maddy Moo won a ton of cupcakes during the cake walk. Lil' Man was delighted that he got to hold the fire hose and soak the other fireman. I wish I was on the receiving end, it was 35+ with humidity that day. Also, Lil' Man is a little too short to pin the tie on the Principal but he did a really great job. Maddy Moo gave a giant hug to Sparky and got her face painted. She looks mighty ferocious as a tiger doesn't she?
We went to the Upper Canada Rodeo in Chesterville where I experienced the longest introduction to O Canada in the world. I should have timed it because it was probably about 10 minutes. I love rodeos anything country, except country music (well, I can stand it for a little while). I am a country girl at heart. I sure hope so as I was born in the prairies.
Also, while we were at the rodeo, I managed to snap this photo of Lil' Man. I finally got him up close without him even realizing it. In the bottom right, you can see the girl that was sitting in front of us. Lil' Man kept staring at her panties because her short was a little too short and her shorts were a little too big.
I love flowers and I don't usually buy them for myself but these just screamed at me one day that I really needed them. I received some bad news that day and needed a pick-me-up. I used the percolator app again for this. I love the little bubbles.
I love my new lens. I am slowly working on more macro shots and even though this one isn't perfect, i love it anyway. I found this shell on the beach by the parkway with my friend David. I don't know what happened to the creature that lived in this shell before.

Photos: good.
