While on the way there the sun was setting and the moon was out. It was a beautiful sliver of a moon. I went to reach for my camera and realized I left it at home because I took the truck. That meant my tripod was also at home. Damn! I tried to take a decent shot with my iPhone but unfortunately that didn't work too well.
I learned a valuable lesson on Friday. No matter what, never leave home without your camera and your tripod.
Last month the moon looked similar to the one on Friday where it was just a sliver on the bottom with the rest of the moon slightly visible.
Can you see the outline of the moon? You might have to look closely.
