I was busted by my son for lying and received a five minute time out (his punishment for lying). To my defense it was a white lie.
He was trying to figure out how much older J is than me. J is 36 and he was doing the math but he used my "forever" age of 25. I am no longer 25 but much closer to 30 than I would like.
Of course I informed Lil' Man of my real age and he caught me in the lie. *oops* In all fairness, I decided to do my time to set a good example. Even parents get a time out.
I learned my lesson. :(
