Have you ever been in a city and just needed a place to crash and didn't know anyone? I have.
Only if I knew about this website a long time ago. It would have saved me a ton of money on seedy motel rooms. It's called Couch Surfing and it is an ingenious idea. Basically the premise is that you need place to stay and you look up places in the country that you are in and find the city that you need and "couch surf". Now this is only an assumption since I have yet to use this service for myself.
The idea seems really cool for people like me who are one, trusting and two, need to save money. There is a rating system so you won't just be staying with some weirdo. I would not recommend this service for people who are less trusting.
